The Fishery & Seafood Expo held conjunction with the Guangzhou Fair exhibition.Guangzhou Fair exhibition all area is about 120,000 square meters. Including about 6,000 booths,3 comprehensive exhibition halls and 8 professional halls. No matter of the cover area,the number of the exhibitor or the scale of the professional exhibition, it were all-time record. According to the statistics, during the period of fishery & seafood expo, 7,146 professionals were received and over 28,000 spectators visited the exhibition site. The committee organized the professional seller to built the exhibit on the site ,in order to convenient the seller sign a contract and order goods with the buyer. That is to say the whole display is colorful and brilliant, buyer and seller are also harvest. Besides of that, the Fishery & Seafood Expo built up the platform for the exhibitors and enterprises to carry out communication activities.There were many industry academic activities during the same period, for instance, China Aquatic Products Cold Chain Logistics Workshop ,World Fisheries Development Forum,etc. In addition, the Fishery & Seafood Expo had set up free seafood tasting area, the organization committee hired chef to cook a variety of seafood for the visitors to taste and gourmet competition.The visitors were attracted to the tuna,butterfly fish,salmon,pompano,oysters,shrimp and other seafood products.
In particular ,the highlight point is Vanuatu prime minister Vanuatu Kilman from the Western Pacific island nation and former president of Namibia Hifikepunye Pohamba from Africa visited the exhibition ,they contacted with the exhibitors to understand the detail of Chinese fisheries situation, and looked forward to cooperating with more Chinese corporations.
